Online certification for pregnancy and interruption of pregnancyWith the electronic submission of pregnancy certification, the employee is no longer held to provide any hard copy of such certification to INPS and employer. The employer may retrieve such certification, via authentication with PIN/CND code, fiscal code and ID code of the certificate of pregnancy, via the INPS website. Said regulations will be effective after a transitional period of 3 months, during which doctors will still be allowed to issue hard copies of certificates.

DURC certification in case of adherence to the procedure for the settlement of overdue tax billsINPS, with circular message no. 80/2017, and INAIL, with circular message no. 18/2017, have provided operational instructions for the release of DURC compliancy certification in presence of a procedure for the facilitated settlement of tax debts pursuant to art. 6, Law Decree no. 193/2016.

The Senate approves new regulations on self-emoloyed work and “smart working”On May 10th, 2017, the Senate gave its final approval to the law on the protection of self-employed workers and measures for the flexible distribution of working hours and places of work for subordinate employment. The law will be effective upon publication on the Official Gazette.
