Interprofessional funds and activation of the aggregate account
With
message no. 5957 of May 17, 2018, ANPAL provided clarifications on the
activation of “aggregate accounts”, managed by
interprofessional funds, by employers.
An “aggregate account” must be activated by all companies
within a group of companies. This rule is only to be disapplied when a
company – either the holding or another member of the group
– has no possibility of joining the fund as, for example, when it
operates without subordinate employees.
Self-employed contractors: coverage for maternity and illness
With
circular message no. 69 of May 11, 2018, INPS examines regulations set
by articles 1, 14 and 5 of Law no. 81/2017, confirming that some of the
coverage set for pregnancy, illness and injury is to be extended to
self-employed contractors.
The Institute specifically defines the range of application of the
discipline, with focus on the application of said regulations to
self-employed contractors (art. 2222 c.c.); those who perform
intellectual professions (art. 2229 c.c.) special types of
relationship; coordinated and continuous collaborations (co.co.co.).
Entrepreneurs are instead not included.
The Institute provides, finally, instructions on the possible
suspension of contribution in case of illness or grave injury, suitable
to interrupt work for over 60 days.
Withdrawal of old vouchers: extension of deadline
On
May 9, 2018, INPS notified the extension of terms for the request of
reimbursement of vouchers for ancillary work bought before March 17,
2018 and not used by the end of 2017.
Term is extended to June 30, 2018. SC52 form will have to be used for the request of reimbursement.
Communication of boat details by July 16, 2018
With
Circular message no. 70/2018, INPS provides instructions, of a
technical and administrative nature, following the releasee of the new
version of the register of boats, to be used by employers for the
submission of necessary salary data for the payment of illness
treatment to maritime workers.
Exposition register: INAIL proceeds with implementation
With
Circular message no. 22/2015, INAIL informs that, effective on May 14,
2018, the “register of exposition” is implemented to allow
employers without a territorial insurance position (PAT) to submit said
registers to INAIL and competent ASL offices.
The online register will be immediately accessible to ASL staff via INAIL web portal.
