A judgement of the Court of Rome determines that the “increasing protection” mechanism cannot be applied in case of unlawful termination of an employee, hired prior to 7 March 2015 with a fixed-term contract, whose employment relationship was turned into permanent after said date.

Since 24 October 2018, the option – within the limit of resources allocated for 2018 and 2019 - to extend CIGS salary integration due to company restructuring or crisis has been extended to all companies regardless of their size.
