Accreditation times for F24 payments

INPS announces that the accreditation to the “wallet” of the family record book or occasional work contract will be nine/ten days after payment, in consideration of the times established for repayment of the amounts by the intermediaries (banks or Poste Italiane SpA) to the Italian Revenue Agency and the subsequent transfer of these amounts to INPS.

Regime for the agricultural industry and calculation of employees

INPS issued a message with instructions on how to determine the minimum pay to be paid to casual workers in the agricultural industry. The message also specifies the methods for calculating the limit of 5 permanent employees, over which the work voucher cannot be used.

The first operational instructions by INPS

With its circular, INPS provided the first operational clarifications on the use of the new occasional work introduced by Law Decree no. 50/2017 as a replacement for ancillary work.

Occasional Work – new discipline approved

The Senate has approved Leg. Decree no. 2853, converted into law by Leg. Decree no. 50/2017, which includes, inter alia, the introduction of the new discipline on occasional work.

Ancillary work abolished

During the Council of Ministers no. 18 of 17 March 2017, upon the proposal of the Minister of Labour, a legal decree was approved to abolish the institution of ancillary work (so-called “vouchers”).

The Decree was published in record time on the Official Gazette of 17 March 2017, therefore the purchase of vouchers is already forbidden from that date.

Referendum to abolish vouchers

Presidential Decree of 15 March 2017 was published in Official Gazette no. 62 of 15 March 2017, calling for a people’s referendum to abolish the measures on ancillary work (i.e. vouchers) (articles 48, 49 and 50 of Leg. Decree 81/2015).

The consultation for the referendum will take place on Sunday 28 May 2017.
